MORE VACATION FUN IN CAMDEN
From my last post you all probably thought I spent my whole vacation playing in the water with my new friends in Camden Harbor, but that was only a small part our trip. There's tons of stuff to do there, and we had a really good time, even though there was only the three of us. We stayed at the same hotel, but had a bigger room than last year. I got to meet all the staff, and they gave me fresh cookies every day. We hung out on our balcony, ate in the restaurant downstairs and walked all around town. All the shops and people are super dog-friendly.
One of the coolest things we do every year is go hiking up Mt. Battie. It's a pretty easy hike, and has a really nice view from the top. Auntie Jen didn't go with us this year, but me & my Mom had fun. Oh yeah, and I got to use the backpack that Auntie Heather gave me, so Mom didn't have to carry all my stuff.

The other really fun thing we do every year, is go sailing on the Schooner Appledore. That's super fun. I love watching the waves. Mom wasn't too happy when I dropped her sunglasses overboard, though.
It's not all fun field trips on vacation, though. Mom & Auntie still make me do training stuff. They seem to enjoy making me balance things on my nose and having me jump up on things to sit for pictures. I don't really mind. This year on one of our early morning walks to the store for coffee, it was just Mom and me, so she had to leave me outside while she went in. I didn't like that much, but there was another dog out there with me, so I wasn't too scared.
"I was very proud of you, David. And don't worry, I was keeping an eye on you"-
We weren't busy the whole time. I got to take lots of extra naps while Mom and Auntie read books. And we had lots of just hanging out time together, cause that's what vacation's all about.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you all the best part. On the way home Mom and Auntie Jen bought us a boat. A Boat. I'm a little bit afraid. I love them both, but they don't know the first thing about boating. We've already been out on it a few times, and if I survive this coming long weekend off at the Lake, I'll tell you all about it next time...
