David's Birthday Interview
“It’s hard to believe, but now that David has turned Two, we thought it might be a good time to sit down for a little Birthday Interview with our Boy, an informal Q & A if you will. We’ll see if and how much he’s grown, and if any of his views have changed.”-Editor/Mom
An interview? Not sure what that is but it sounds important. Just let me know what you want me to do and I’ll do my best.
“It’s easy. Here’s how it works. I ask the questions, and you answer them. Ready? Here goes.”-Editor/Mom
Q: First of all, David, did you have a nice Birthday?
A: I did.
Q: Can you elaborate, you know, tell us more?
A: Oh sure. Let’s see. First I had a Formal Black Tie Party with my friends at Camp. Everybody sang to me and we all had some of the cool cake Auntie Dawn made for me.
Then we had the whole weekend off, so we went for a ride to the Beach in Auntie’s Jeep. That was fun, but it would’ve been better if we could’ve gone swimming. Something about everyplace being too crowded.
Then we went to visit Nana, Papa and Cousin Java, where we all got presents for my Birthday to run around the yard and play with.
Q: You were born on the 3rd of July. How do you feel about your Birthday being so close to a major holiday?
A: Good question. Well, it’s cool cause we always have extra time off together to celebrate. On the other paw, it’s always hot, and we can’t swim at the Beach, and the Lake house is always taken, cause it’s such a busy weekend. At least we got to go in our pool at home. And, while I don’t really mind doing photo shoots with silly props, it’s not my favorite thing.
Q: So, what do you think is the best part about having another Birthday?
A: That’s easy. The Birthday Presents! I got some fun new toys from you Mom (Thanks!), Auntie Kristine and Auntie Heather. I haven’t gotten anything from my Auntie Jen yet. She probably ordered something online and is still waiting for it to come in the mail.
